Latest U.S. Hermès Price Adjustments for 2026

New year, new mindset—and updated Hermès pricing. Continuing the trajectory set in 2025, the House entered 2026 with rapid price revisions, rolling out first across Europe before reaching the U.S. Handbag prices in the EU were adjusted ahead of other regions, rising roughly 1.5% to 10% based on style and leather, sparking widespread curiosity about how those changes would translate for American buyers.

As more data becomes available, U.S. handbag pricing for 2026 is shaping up with increases ranging from approximately 3.8% to 10.3%—slightly surpassing the adjustments seen in Europe for comparable styles. The highly sought-after Mini Kelly 20 in Epsom now retails at $11,400, while the Kelly 25 Retourne in Togo has moved to $13,700. By comparison, European pricing places these models at €8,000 (a 7.4% increase) and €9,600 (up 7.3%), respectively. Mirroring the European rollout, U.S. pricing is expected to standardize across leathers within each Kelly size, suggesting that the K25 in Togo, Swift, and Epsom may reach uniform pricing—an approach likely to extend to larger formats such as the K28 and K32 as well.

The Birkin 25 has also recorded a meaningful adjustment, with its price moving from $12,700 to $13,500. This $800 increase translates to a 6.3% rise. Notably, this change stops short of the size-based price standardization already observed in Europe, where Kelly and Birkin models are increasingly aligned by size regardless of leather.

Across much of the Hermès lineup, these price increases exceed prevailing inflation rates, indicating that higher production costs alone are unlikely to be the primary driver. Instead, the adjustments raise a broader question: are these changes designed to strengthen revenue while capitalizing on sustained—and growing—demand for the brand’s most coveted pieces? The answer, as always, is left to the reader.

Whether you are shocked or relieved, everyone likely can agree on one thing — Hermès prices seem to have no limits. Long gone are the days of annual 2-3% adjustments, as is the pandemic era price stability. Last year Hermès hit its clients with a 6-7% increase in the US (3-8% in the EU). It then doubled down on American shoppers in May 2025, lifting prices another 5%, as it passed along the cost of US tariffs.

US Hermès Non-Quota Bag Prices 2026

Outside of quota bags, Hermès’ 2026 U.S. price updates reflect a broad—but uneven—upward movement across non-quota styles. Increases seen to date generally range from about 3% to 11%, with many everyday favourites settling into the mid-single-digit band. The Mini Lindy experienced some of the sharper adjustments, climbing 8.4% in Clemence to $9,050 and 7.9% in Swift to $9,550. The Picotin family followed with consistent gains, as the Picotin 18 rose 6.7% to $3,975 and the Picotin 22 increased 6.2% to $4,275. Meanwhile, more accessible crossbody options like the Evelyne TPM saw a milder increase of 4.1%, bringing it to $2,525.

Men’s styles were not exempt from the 2026 recalibration. The HAC à Dos PM in Togo moved up 8.7% to $11,300, while the Kelly Messenger adjusted 8.9% to $14,700. The Kelly Dépêches 25 pouch saw some of the sharper changes across leathers, increasing 11% in Epsom to $11,100, 7.9% in Togo to $12,300, and 10% in Box to $15,300.
